Description
UL20234 PURJacket AC0.6/1KV 80C VW-1 Flame Test Drag Chain Wire Robotic Wire High Flex Wire
• UL certificate, Compliant with UL758 Standard
• Rating : 80 deg C, 600, 1000 Vac, Cable flame.
• Insulated Conductor : Labeled or complying with manufacturer’s AWM Procedure.
• Assembly : Two or more individually insulated conductors or groups of insulated conductors cabled together to form a round cable. All conductors in any group twisted together. If more than one group is used, groups shall also be twisted together. The length of lay of the twisted conductors or groups is not specified. A barrier layer, if employed, may be extruded thermoplastic, a fibrous wrap serving, or braid; paper; nylon; oriented polyethylene terephthalate; or thermoplastic-tape wrap. Such a barrier would serve to protect the cable during further processing and would be applied immediately over the twisted assembly of individual conductors or groups of conductors or over the shield, if provided. A flat or oval cable may also be constructed with not more than three rows of single conductors or groups of conductors. Fillers may be provided.
• Covering : Optional
• Shield : Optional
• Braid : Optional, provided over Jacket.
• Jacket : Extruded PUR
• Use : External interconnection of electronic equipment.
Application
UL 20234 – Flexible / Drag Chain / Robotic Cable Applications
UL20234 is a UL-recognized flexible cable, designed for high-flex, continuous-motion applications, with stranded copper conductors and durable insulation suitable for industrial environments. It is intended for dynamic wiring where repeated bending, torsion, and mechanical stress are common.
Recommended Applications
-
Drag chain wiring in automation and production lines
-
Wiring for industrial robots and robotic arms
-
CNC machines, conveyors, and automated material handling systems
-
Motor leads and actuator connections in continuously moving equipment
-
Internal wiring of automated machinery requiring high-flexibility and durability
Limitations
-
Not suitable for fixed internal wiring of household appliances
-
Not suitable for high-voltage mains circuits beyond its rated voltage
-
Not suitable for low-flex or static wiring applications
-
Designed specifically for dynamic industrial or robotic environments
