Applications
UL3132 is a UL‑recognized silicone rubber cable hook‑up wire, rated 150 °C and 300 V AC (stranded or solid copper conductor, silicone rubber insulation).
Recommended Applications
-
Internal wiring of household appliances — ovens, microwave ovens, heating devices, cooking appliances.
-
Lighting equipment wiring — lighting fixtures, lamps, and other high‑temperature lighting units.
-
Internal wiring of electronic & electric devices — control circuits, small motors, electronic modules, instrumentation, and electrical appliances requiring heat resistance.
-
Internal wiring in industrial equipment / machinery — machines or equipment operating under elevated temperatures or harsh environments where silicone insulation’s heat & chemical resistance is advantageous.
-
Flexible routing in compact or confined spaces — because of its soft silicone insulation and good flexibility, suitable for tight routing, bends, and small‑space wiring inside devices.
Limitations
-
Rated for 300 V AC — not intended for high-voltage mains or heavy power wiring beyond its rating.
-
Designed for internal wiring / appliance wiring / device wiring — not primarily for outdoor, high‑flex drag‑chain, or heavy‑duty power‑cable applications.
-
Uses silicone rubber insulation, providing high‑temperature resistance, flexibility, flame resistance — makes it suitable where heat, compactness, or vibration may be present.
